FAT

Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) is conducted by our company and our engineers to ensure customer requirements are met before the plant or machine is delivered. During this test, faults and problems can be identified and addressed before delivery to the customer.

Factory Acceptance Testing Process

Define Requirements

First, we ask you to identify the plant or machine to be tested and the requirements and performance standards that must be met.

This includes setting up the infrastructure and plant or machine needed for testing, including the required software and hardware.

The plant or machine undergoes various tests to ensure it meets all customer requirements.

The results of each test are recorded and compared to the requirements and performance standards to determine whether the FAT has passed. A FAT checklist is typically used in the documentation process.

The results of the FAT are summarized in a report that can be presented to the customer.

If any problems or defects are discovered during the factory acceptance test, they are corrected before the plant or machine is delivered to the customer and received on-site by the factory acceptance test team.
